Agogo – The place of, well not nightmares but, traumatic experiences for a well timed and effective worker

Falshback: Nicolas coming in at 9.15 eating fufu; Sebastian dying inside
were born

Naturally we arrived here with not quite the highest expectations. So when at 7.59 the first two workers show up we nearly fell of our chairs. They more or less straight away were ready to work, showed us their tool box and we asked them to do what they normally do. Remembering last time, they started their normal routine around the hospital.
With big confusion on their sind and with the staff

Ah, they haven’t changed and don’t do the routine as last time

One quick check in the books proved us wrong. Dead Wrong.

Their record is on point. Every day. Every Week. up to 5 Month back.

Turns out the language barrier was quite big. After three different explanations we foudn out that everybod was confused to see the maintenance department check twice a week.

So after our presentation regarding preventive maintenance, a last motivating and thanking speech (kindly translated into Twi) and many hugs we sent them into their Weekend. We Continued for some more hours handwriting a Memorandum of Understanding.

Later in the evening we were invited over to the dentist to talk hopital politics, ghana politics and why it is a bad idea to grow pumpkins.

Good fun. Great Guy. Fantastic ideas. Really makes us hope for Ghana.
